Portals

keyhole

Passing this doorway while en route to the shoreline of Thunersee (Switzerland) on Sunday morning, my mind began to wander…My first thought seeing the cutout was that perhaps a four-leaf clover isn’t a universal symbol of ‘Good luck’! Pausing long enough to consider the opening, the colour of the door and take a picture, my realisation and appreciation was once more deep and clear how every breath is a portal to be crossed into the new ‘next’.

For the first time in many years, I am in a grand state of anticipation for life, years if writing finally ‘done’ for the time. In this moment joy arises as preparations are made to head south to the mountains of Tuscany for a week-long meditative retreat at Sanctuario La Verna.

Make it a wonderful day and look within before stepping out! 🙂

A week long retreat in Tuscany sounds lovely! I just finished “A Footprint In Eternity.” I have so many passages highlighted, that I will probably re-read it. It is such a remarkable story, and it speaks to me in so many ways at this time in my life. I eagerly await “Bringing Heavenly Minded Matters Down To Earth.” I am now reading “Living Plan B.”
