life motto 2This morning after making and quickly downing a black espresso doppio, rather than my usual almond milk latte, I was excited to get up and get going. First on my list was buying groceries, and a close second was house plants, a flat of red gardenias and garden boxes to hang on my terrace. This accomplished, the grand plan (ha!) was to come home, eat breakfast, and then move furniture.

Driving up the hill towards the Coop, it seemed strange that there wasn’t much traffic on Monday morning. However, when I got to the centre and saw that everything was closed up tight at 10.00, it was clear that today’s a holiday that somehow slipped past my radar!

After a short drive, deciding to at least make the trip something of an adventure, I got home and headed to see if maybe my friend Urs left something hidden in the cupboard that I hadn’t found. A bottle of wine and several other aperitifs wasn’t going to help; but pulling out an almost hidden drawer I found a new box of penne and two packages of instant soup! Laughing, I told myself “It’s gonna be a gourmet day!”

After a cup of instant tomato basil soup, I began doing what I really wanted to do; roll up the blue and brown rug in the living room and drag it to the guest room. Then it was time to rearrange furniture. When this was accomplished I sat down on the terrace and began to sketch, planning a piece of art that will reflect my Vision for the next however-many-breaths the Universe gives me! Rather than sharing it on today’s Dia.BLOG.ue, I decided to it into a word cloud.

What words do you identify with?

I’d love to see how you might put these thoughts together, and tomorrow I’ll post the whole thing!
